Our Mission
What we are about
CUHK MBA is the leading business school in Asia for Corporate Social Responsibility. The CUHK MBA CSR committee is a student initiated committee that was formed in 2007 and has hosted an annual conference for the past 7 years with CSR professionals of all industries.
The conference provides a platform for speakers, leading executives and professionals of various industries to network, share, and discuss best practices in CSR and inspire new thought leadership in order to help further develop CSR in Asia. The 2014 conference will be held on May 28th, 2014, at HongKong Exhibition Center. We aim to follow up our public recognition by Financial Times in 2012 for the 1st place ranking in Asia and 5th place ranking globally, for CSR initiatives by a territory business institution. Since inception in 2007, the conference has attracted several fortune 500 companies and more than 300 participants, becoming one of the largest CSR events in Hong Kong.
Our approach in Corporate Social Responsibility is a holistic one. We recognize the value CSR strategies bring to companies in the long-run, especially ones that promote performance and profit.
This year, one of the objectives of our committee is to organize events throughout the academic year that focus on enriching the knowledge of our MBA students in areas of business and CSR, alongside the conference to be held in late May next year
